Even with therapy or some alternate form of recovery, as a women survivor of physical, emotional, verbal, or even sexual abuse it is important to continue the process of healing.
To help continue the process of healing you will, as a member of the “My Life” program, have access to live interviews and audio recordings…
Shared insights from other survivors…
Shared insights from healing professionals…
Live interaction and support…
Private membership forums…
And the additional tools to support your journey and proccess of healing.
In the following audio clip, from my interview with Dr. Lucia Capacchione, you will hear us discuss recovery and the often misunderstood and endless process.
If you ever think or say to yourself “I should be done with this?” then you are in the right place.
I say bold not as an expectation that you or I should save the world or somehow try to be a hero to others. Rather to explain what I feel is the boldest choice you or I can make.
To “Be YOU!” Is, for me, the boldest choice you can make!
It is not easy to face yourself, let alone your peers, without judgement of yourself…
You can measure your boldness by answering the following question:
The “My Life” program was designed to provide women survivors of physical, emotional, verbal, and even sexual abuse an opportunity and support to take the next step in their lives.
So often survivors of abuse, despite their best efforts with therapy and alternative methods end-up settling for a “SAFE” life.
A life built to shelter and protect!
Resigned to a life absent of color and stimulation these women survivors quietly continue to carry, in silence, the pain and the hurt from their past abuse.
I have found that anger can be like an underground river flowing invisibly through the lives of these survivors. With their anger constantly shaping their relationships and interactions with others.
Ultimately it is the “BROKEN TRUST” that keeps these women survivors isolated and always at a safe distance. Where there was once trust, today there is hurt and pain.
I created this blog and the “My Life” program to provide women survivors of physical, emotional, verbal, and evern sexual abuse the opportunity and support to begin “Living Their Lives on Their Terms!”
If you are a survivor of abuse and you are ready to “Live Your Life on Your Terms,” then you are in the right place!
