One of my favorite authors is Richard Carlson, PhD. who wrote “Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff… and it’s all small stuff” and many other wonderful books. In his book he describes a great way to relax by counting to ten. What he recommends is when you’re feeling upset you take a deep breath and say the number one to your self. Then he tells you to relax your entire body while you are exhaling. You do it to the count of ten or twenty if your feeling really angry. I have tried it and it really does work. You are focusing so much on counting and breathing you forget about being angry. It’s just a quick easy way to calm down and doesn’t require any special equipment.

Guess what?  I’ve decided not to breastfeed my baby.  Guess what else?  It’s nobody’s business but mine.  I know I’m bringing up the topic but it simply amazes me when people ask or give their opinion about the way I feed my child. 

I have really learned some lessons in life and one of them is to not ask people about their boobs.  Why should I concern myself with someone else’s boobs?

INGREDIENTS:

• 4 tablespoons espresso coffee
• 1 tablespoon Grappa
• 3 eggs, separated
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 8 ounces Marscapone cheese
• 24 Savoiardi biscuits
• 1 ounce sweet chocolate, grated

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a small bowl, combine the coffee and grappa; set aside
2. In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff; set aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks together with the sugar until thick and lemon colored.
   
4. Add the marscapone and blend.
   
5. Gently fold the egg whites into the cheese mixture.
6. Place half of the biscuits in the bottom of a 10?inch square baking dish or larger serving plate.
   
7. Sprinkle with half of the coffee mixture.
   
8. Cover with half of the cheese mixture, and repeat process.
   
9. Refrigerate tiramisu for 4 hours before serving with grated chocolate.

While we were traveling last December, we noticed that many kid friendly hotels and restaurants boast play areas for your children. Now that I’ve had the baby I feel like I have so many things to write about.  The problem is I don’t feel like I have the time.  But here is one interesting thing.  Remember when I said I never got that line down my belly button?  Well, it showed up right at the end of my pregnancy.  It is called the Line Nigra.  This line actually goes from the top of my belly, through my belly button and down to my pubic bone.  Weird huh?

It’s amazing to me how these last two pregnancies were different.  The last time, I only had the lower line and I still had it when I got pregnant again.  I wonder when this one will disappear.  I guess I should expect a year or so.
