Work at Home Mom Personal Woes
Posted by dc on March 3rd, 2010Parenting has been extremely challenging for me lately. For many work at home moms, our time management is crucial to ensure a productive day as we balance between work and our family life. But when our children get fussy and cranky, it can disturb more than just our work, it can take a toll on us emotionally, mentally and even physically.
I’m one work at home mom who believes that we should take time to care for our physical health. I know that some of my friends have a gym to go to for a good workout before heading back to their home office. I look forward to my Pilates class every week where I can take a break off work and do something for my body. As I improve on my breathing and muscular movements, I feel confident and upbeat about work and life. I feel mentally stronger and alert as I embark on a hectic schedule of any work at home mom.
This afternoon, I have to take some time to settle some home matters including getting a broken fan fixed and an insurance quote for the family. When you work at home, it’s important to make sure everything at home works fine and dandy. Hopefully the challenges I face can ease off as the weekends draw nigh. It looks like I need more sleep and abit outdoor activities and I sure hope the weather improves by then.
